Song remixes involve taking an original recording of a song and altering it in various ways to create a new version or interpretation of the original. Remixes can range from subtle changes to complete overhauls of the original track.
Remixing allows artists to put their own creative spin on existing songs, introducing new elements, changing the tempo or key, or recontextualizing the lyrics to create something fresh and exciting. It can also help extend the lifespan of a song, introducing it to new audiences or keeping it relevant in different musical scenes.
