1. Why Are The Song Remixes Classes Held Online?

We are using the computer to create the songs, hence it is easier to learn from your own computer screen.

We have discovered that our students learn much faster from learning online rather than squinting their eyes to figure things out on the classroom’s projector screen.

2. What Is The DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Software That We Are Using To Make Music Remixes?

At Momentum Lessons, we are using Apple’s Logic Pro software. It costs $299.98.

3. How Often Are The Song Remixes Classes Held?

We hold them once a week in a Zoom session, with different time slots available for a maximum of 20 students per class.

4. What Other Equipment Do I Need To Make My Own Song Covers?

You just need the most basic model of an Apple computer actually, be it a desktop or a laptop. Everything else can be done using Apple’s Logic Pro. There is a built-in mixer inside the software system.

That being said, you can always get a pair of headphones, mic, and audio interface, speakers (studio monitors), MIDI keyboard and sound treat your room if you would like to improve the quality of your music. We usually discuss this at the beginning of the first class and can give further advice on your preferred brand / model in a Zoom breakout room.

5. How Long Are The Song Remixes Lessons Held?

Each lesson lasts for 3 hours. You will be working on your own most of the time, apart from getting individual attention from our instructors in Zoom breakout rooms and also listening to the works of other students / instructors. You will also be having lectures that last for about 1 to 1.5 hours.

6. Do I Need To Have Any Prior Music Knowledge In Order To Learn How To Make My Own Song Covers?

Absolutely not! We teach everything from scratch including music theory. We will be providing you with notes at the end of the classes.

7. How Often Do I Need To Make Payment For The Song Remixes Lessons?

We go by every 4 weeks per payment. Alternatively, you can also make payment for our entire course that lasts for 1 year in the beginning to book your slot permanently as we have a waiting list. We understand that sometimes you have to skip classes, so if you have to miss a lesson, you can simply slot yourself into another class during that week upon informing us.

8. What Are Your Lessons Timings For The Song Remixes Classes?

9am – 12pm Mondays to Saturdays

12.30pm – 3.30pm Mondays to Fridays

4pm – 7pm Daily

7.30pm – 10.30pm Daily

9. I Do Not Even Know How To Use A Mac! How Can We Proceed For Song Remixes Lessons?

Not to worry at all! We include basic Apple / Mac training in our classes.

10. What If I Do Not Even Own A Mac / Apple Computer?

As we are using Apple’s Logic Pro software to make our music, it is recommended that the only compulsory equipment you would need is an Apple computer / Mac device. The most basic model of any Mac / Apple computer is sufficient enough without giving you issues.

11. What Else Do I Need For The Song Remixes Classes?

12. What Can I Expect From The Song Remixes Lessons?

You can contact us at +65 84083222 to get the lesson syllabus for 1 year. You will be learning professional music production and audio engineering skills; such as, music arrangement, melody composition, recording, mixing and mastering. You can expect to pick up basic piano playing and advanced music theory knowledge. Furthermore, you will be getting the chance to network with other students while waiting for your turn. You will also be added to our Whatsapp group chat where you will be able to know other like-minded people who are passionate about making music!!!

13. What Equipment Do I Need For The Sound Effects Lessons?

It is best that you get a professional audio recorder eg. Zoom H4n to record sounds. However, you can also use a good phone eg. iPhone to record if you would want to operate with a minimal budget. The software we will be using to create your very own versions of your most favourite movie clips and TV advertisements is Logic Pro. This means that you will need to own a Mac / Apple computer (just the most basic model will do).

14. Can We Meet To Get The Audio Equipment Together?

Absolutely YES! We usually meet together as a community to purchase the audio gear on weekends.
